My Brother took me for my 72nd Birthday Lunch, and I was extremely excited by the huge menu. And being a Vegetarian, I swooned at the fresh Vegetable Selections. I filled up on Salad, turnip greens, sweet potatoes, fried fish, seafood , iced tea, squash, corn bread, all Soooooo well made and totally delicious. The wait staff was beyond professional with her attention making sure that we had all and more. This was my 4th visit there and to me it is the BEST in my book. The place is pristine in cleanliness and the environment just perfect. It was the Best Birthday Ever!!!

This Golden Corral is spacious, clean, and well laid out. There was a line going into the restaurant when it opened at 11 a.m., but there was no shortage of food! Well positioned food bars and seating in different sections so that there was a feel of a smaller restaurant. The staff was really attentive and did an excellent job of clearing the tables after use. The food was buffet style and quality, which was good, with a wide variety of selections. I would go again and recommend to families looking for tables that accommodate more people and with varying food tastes. The Ladies Restroom was very clean.

Can't beat the selection of food and the price you pay. I go to the senior meal at 2 PM and the menu had everything I wanted from meats, great catfish, veggies and awesome deserts. The peach cobbler was as good as grandma's. Fresh food was brought out quickly and it was a friendly environment.

We had a party of 30 people who showed up over a 20 min time period. The person at the cash register was fantastic. The food was as expected for a Golden Corral buffet. The woman caring for our tables worked hard to make sure out plates were picked up and our drinks were full.

Golden Corral has always been a special place for me, ever since my Grandpa took me there every Saturday growing up in New Mexico.(back in the early 90s) Now living in Alabama, I was heartbroken when my local Golden Corral closed yeaaars ago. So, on a recent road trip to Columbia, I was beyond excited to stop at the Augusta, Georgia, location—and let me tell you, it exceeded all my expectations! This location has the biggest food selection I’ve ever seen at a Golden Corral. The yeast rolls, my absolute favorite, were perfection, but they didn’t stop there. They had regular biscuits, butter biscuits, and even cheddar bay biscuits like the ones from Red Lobster. It was biscuit and roll heaven! Since it was Christmas season, they also had their holiday menu out, and everything was incredible. The stuffing, yams, turkey, and ham were all cooked to perfection. Honestly, everything I tried was amazing. The only downside was how crowded it was. The tables are very close together, so it’s a little hard to sit comfortably when you’re back-to-back with other guests. But with food this good, it was totally worth it. If you’re ever near Augusta, you have to stop by this Golden Corral!
